I'd love to read more books set in Asia, as most of the books I read are set in the UK or North America!
To complete my reading for this week, I read The Yellow Birds. It is set on the continent of Asia, specifically in Iraq. I have read very few books set in Asia, so I am interested in exploring more.

It is set in England (Europe), though parts of the story also occur in Spain.

Much of the story is based in the country of Gibraltar, a British territory located in Europe.

I tend to stick to North America and Europe (I am a huge fan of British mysteries and WWII novels), but I have expanded into Asia and Africa after reading the works of Hosseini, Khaled, Ruth Ozeki, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
I had to DNF my first choice for this week→ The Book Thief.My second choice was Flirting in Italian which is set in Italy.
I would also like to read more from Asia and Africa.

Most of the books that I seem to be reading lately are set in either Africa or Asia so I've covered most of the continents seeing as a lot of books are based in America. It's a lot harder to find books on my own continent though (Oceania)

Australia (at the end of the 19th century). The heroine's maternal grandmother came from China, though.

That's a difficult question. I haven't been reading the book for it's continent, I think. But there is a lot of good stuff coming from Australian writers' pens.
I FINALLY finished The Bone Labyrinth by James Rollins. It wasn't that it was bad that it took me so long. I didn't want it to end ,and I feared for the lives of the young gorilla Baako and my favorite characters Monk and Kowalski. I am sad it is over.

I read "Three cups of tea" by Mortenson and it was a huge disappointment, mostly because I found out that the author lied about many issues and, worst, he stole the money he raised for Afghanistan and Pakistani children :(I visited Asia, but I'm eager to visit it again!!!

This week, I am reading A Sinless Season by Damon Galgut. It is set in South Africa. I particularly like to read books from Africa. as well as ones from Asia.

For this week, I'm read A Mortal Song by Megan Crewe. I'm always interested in reading books from other continents. Throughout school, I've read books from Europe and South America. I've also tried to branch out and read more books from Africa and Asia.
I just finished King Rat by James Clavell.It takes place at a Japanese War Prison Camp, during WWII
I like reading about Asia because I lived in South Korea for a year, and I find I can easily 'conjure' great Asian settings easily and with fondness (well, if they are written well, that is, of course.)
Hemingway was great with writing settings, in my opinion. One of the reasons I liked his writing in high school.
For this challenge, I am reading The Blazing Star by Imani Josey. It is set in Egypt on the African continent. I'm always interested in reading books that take place in Europe and Asia, but I'm like to read more books from Oceania and Latin America.
