TDGoHH Part 2 After the fact: P. 60-149

Discussion from chapter 8 until chapter 16.

How do you like the plot so far? Are you reminded of other stories?(I for example feel quite like reading something from 'American Horrorstory' Part 1 and 2... like a mix of it.)

Also, how do you like the characters, Delia especially?
Thoughts anyone?

I'm irritated with Delia!!! But I guess that's ok! Hahaa but she's annoying and self-centered. Somehow I felt okay that she was in her place....

I agree on the mention of American Horror Story; it definitely came to mind a few times while reading this. I went back and forth with Delia depending on what was going on. Sometimes I was with her and sometimes she got on my nerves. I didn't like Eliza at first, but her involvement with the Nic situation won me over. I also liked Theo.

Agreed! Delia needs to get her shit together! :D
Actually I can't quite understand her reaction to Nic and Landon. It was way over the top. But she is 16 after all... maybe I'm to old to understand such an outburst on a person she dearly loves, resulting in nearly killing her because of a boyfriend-issue... But it probably was more like one too much of schocks to her.

As for the story, I think it does have potential. But it is still lacking a lot of, how do I put it? Consistency? A straighter line? I don't know. So far I feel like I don't have a clue where this should be headed.

I just hope it will get a little more creepy than just that. American Horrorstory definetly was creepier than that. :D
