First Impressions? What did you expect from the first part and how did you like the foreshadowing? Was it to obvious for you? Or just perfect because it wasn't too scary this way? What turn do you expect the story to take?

Personally I thought the introductionpart (before the fact) was quite obvious and so far I'm missing the really scary things, but I still think it piques up my interest so far, for what is about to come. :-)

The first part was okay for me... That's why maybe I expected a lot? The relationship between Delia and the her family was written in a way that readers could actually relate...

The first part was actually really creepy. I didn't expect much but I really like it so far! It's almost 2pm and I am glad that it isn't night time. I've never read a book like this cause I am a little scaredy-cat. Haha

Valerie (book_doll) | 4 comments I thought the first portion was a pretty clear indicator of what was coming, but I guess I didn't expect what happened at the end of "before the fact" to happen that quickly. I was super into the book pretty much from the beginning. I didn't it was particularly scary, but I did enjoy the creepy elements.

I agree! I also loved those little creepy elements. Not totally scary, but if you imagine it as a movie, I bet it would be quite creepy to watch and let the suspense build up. And until she bluntly just stated what would happen to her, I was also quite surprised of 'the fact'
