Rereading the Series

Hey Carly!!! YAY I'M SO GLAD YOU DECIDED TO COME AND TALK TO US ALL!!!!!
I love re-reading personally. I do kinda know what happens but it's just nice to remember how characters met and funny things they've all said (OH GOSH, THERE ARE SOOOO MUCH HILARIOUS THINGS IN VA!!)
Also, I know the feels are sometimes really real, (I have cried in many a book) but man it's worth it, because it means that you've really connected to the book and characters and that this work of art has made you feel things and means something to you and I think that's something really special.
ALSO DON'T YOU FEEL LIKE THE CHARACTERS ARE YOUR FRIENDS TOO?? I always feel like I'm going back to meet up with old friends when I re-read books. :)
Good luck with your re-reading Carly!!!

I don't know how to read the series again. Like...whenever there's a hint of Rose and Dimitri in the first book (and we know there's a lot more than just a hint!) I literally break down because it doesn't last. In the same way that I can't reread the third Harry Potter book because I know how dreadfully things turn out for Remus and Sirius...
How do you guys get past the "they don't know that x, y and z is going to happen now I'm panicking I cannot enjoy the story where it is because I'm too busy thinking about the bad things" or is that just me and my diagnosed-last-week separation anxiety? (I literally have no idea, it hurts to read the happy parts because they don't last....)
