Trinity College is the most central of the four colleges mentioned and is probably the easiest to get to and from on public transport.
Trinity and UCD would be far more prestigious than the other two and there qualifications would carry more weight in general both in Ireland and abroad. DCU can be a bit more awkward to get to than the others and the American College would be the newer and least known of them all.

Trinity always looks good on a cv as does dcu. Don't know too much about the other colleges.

I was planning this year's vacation for June 27 so if I'm going to make this a one-way trip I don't have much time... I'm currently enrolled in classes here in the States but I've discovered that there are 4 schools in Dublin that will allow me to keep my current educational funding. They are:
University of Dublin Trinity College
American College Dublin
Dublin City University
University College Dublin
I have lodging sorted already due to the generosity of some dear friends, and I have some job opportunities that I'm looking into at the moment. The main thing I'm unclear on is the visa... I intend to work and attend school (at least part-time on both) so I'm not sure whether I should apply for a student visa or a work visa. Could anyone offer any helpful information there?
I'd also value any input that any of our Irish members can give me regarding the 4 schools listed above... I am still deciding which to apply for. My degree is somewhat flexible (undergraduate) but I had planned to do either Business or Psychology. Are there any horror stories or praises that could be offered for any of the 4?
I'm aware as well that the American resume is formatted differently than the Irish CV... Do any of you know of any good resources I could use to help me tailor my job applications to fit the standard used in Ireland?
These are some of the main questions I have at this point, but any input that you want to offer would be appreciated! This opportunity has come up quite unexpectedly, so I'm in a rush to get everything settled and I really don't want to miss this chance.
Thanks again!
