Have you had a trait or habit which you couldn't control and hurt other people? Gifts by Ursula K. Le Guin is about a boy named Orecc had a power which kill or unmade them. He couldn't control his power so he was blinded, and now lives with his friend and a complete outsider. I thought it was a great book and is totally full of drama and a great character vs self book. I recommend end this book to 10 and 13 year old who love drama. Ursula Guin has also written Left Hand Of Darkness. She's won the Locus Award for best Fantasy Novel. This book reminds me of 39 Clues due to the family problems and how respected family is.
