Kirsten  (kmcripn) The true impact is not just with criminals but with juries. They seem to think that shoe prints and everything is so easy and so quick to do. Have you ever watched The First 48 on A&E? The cops there are always putting those shows down.

Yes, Kirsten - I think the public now has a certain (unrealistic) expectation of what can be achieved (and how quickly it is done) in forensics.
