The Tale of the two cities is not an easy read. When I was reading it, I almost gave up multiple times and when I finally reached the end I couldn't figure out what really happened in the book.

Samanta (almacubana) Hello, Mary. Your check in looks good, but you do not need to put the link to the book after the image, like this:

The Pope and Mussolini The Secret History of Pius XI and the Rise of Fascism in Europe by David I. Kertzer by David I. Kertzer (no photo)

The same thing happened in your check point three message

Samanta (almacubana) Hello, Chris! You forgot to put the link to the author's profile after the cover photo. It should look like this:

Yes and maybe you should get one of those study guides to accompany your reading so you don't miss things as you go along.

Sydney Carton is a true story of redemption and resurrection - he becomes one of literatures first selfless martyr enabling the happiness of his own beloved and in a way he will always live on in her heart and the heart of others. I think he placed little value on his own existence -

Famous quote - Sydney Carton's last thoughts before his life is sacrificed to save Charles Darnay:

"It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known."
