Summary: When a mysterious girl named Katie Feldman in the town of Southport questions start to bubble about her past around town. She seems very cautious of having personal ties to people, but some do occur. One with her neighbor Jo a counselor, and the other with a widowed store owner named Alex who has two children a son and younger daughter Kristen who absolutely adore "Miss Katie".
Personal Reaction: I have always loved Nicholas Sparks books because they have very good story lines and plots that make you not want to put the book down. This one is no different, and I absolutely love Katie. The way Nicholas describes her and what she goes through is very relative and I can't help but feel bad for her.
