My husband and I both just started reading it and he's still interested, so that's a good sign! (He doesn't normally like to read..)

I didn't read this as a child, so I don't have any nostalgia painting my glasses rosy. I really enjoyed how realistic Meg's character is, and I loved the prose. However, I was more of less bored any time they were on Camazotz. Like most middle grade/younger YA books, I felt like it just ended. That said, I still checked out the rest of the books in the series. :)
