I've just created the first one clicking on the "Manually add a book" button but I don't know how to mark it as an edition of the second one. Have I done something wrong? I see now there is an "Add a New Edition" button, Should I use this instead of adding new editions as new books?

Shannon (pokey36) | 66 comments Done Fancisco and yes it's easier if you use the Add a New Edition button. It takes away the need to combine them afterwards. :)

I merged a couple of them, the rest need a super librarian. I don't understand how some of them have 2 editions with identical ASINs though; weird.

One of the ASIN's is in the isbn13 field.

No, they were the first books added to the database, when the very early first tests were being run, before the site went fully live.

Book #1: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1 (had just come out at the time)
Book #2: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2
Book #3: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3
Book #4: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4
Book #5: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5
etc.

HP #7 was not out yet, but book #9 is as close as was possible in 2006.
