Yes - but only sorcerers can perform "real" alchemy because they have the specified magic that can do so (meaning no humans or any other magical beings can use alchemic magic).
1. Do all royals have magic?
2. And are most villagers mundane?
3. As for magic users, unless they are part of an order, are there magic users unaligned? Or are magic users strictly born into their order and taught unless of course, they are poor (which I image don't get taught)?
4. Also, are there hybrids of two magics? Or is that strictly forbidden?
5. Will we be getting a list of specific magic that each type has or is that not necessary to fill out on the character profile?
6. Are there other kingdoms beyond the one that is shown? Or are we sticking to just this kingdom?
7. Based on what I read from the plot, will we be focusing on the warring sides of magic versus mundane? Or will this be at a time when they aren't outright fighting each other, just dancing around them even though there are still magic users being hunted and its forbidden to use magic?
Sorry, another question, Are the magic users completely separated tribes from each other or under one order? Also, do they live freely amongst each others or remain within their tribe?
Also.......(again sorry)...may I make some suggestions for positions titles so that everyone can find something?
1. No royals have magic, only the magical beings. The whole debate is about the prejudice between magical beings and humans (royals and villagers).
2. Most of them are because the magics have separated themselves mostly from the human world.
3. The only reason there might be an unaligned magical being would be because they grew up in a mundane household - all magical beings are united with eachother.
4. There can be hybrids, but they only adopt one of the parent's magical affinities.
5. There isn't really specific magic - the witches have spells (which you can translate into Latin) and you can go wild with that depending on how old they are (but no ridiculous spells, like killing someone on the spot). The bigger the spell, the more energy they use. The sorcerers can create almost anything with their alchemic magic - if they don't learn it from a young age, their affinities still show when creating anything because that something may carry magical properties. For example, if an untrained sorcerer makes soup, that soup might heal the person drinking it without their knowledge. The wiccan are pretty simple - they can control a single element (no phase changing e.g, water to ice) just by thinking it.
6. Just this kingdom

The Princep rules with the Council which consists of a sorcerer, a witch and a wiccan - so yes, they are under one order. They live freely with each other, but it's more common to find communities of a single race.

Sure, Ashley and I are always open to suggestion :)

So for positions I was thinking, you could have Kingsguards ( 4 - 7) who swear allegiance to the king and country.
Royal Guard
General
Poison Tester
Royal Physician
Ladies in Waiting
@Resy - they all sound good! The only thing was in my mind, the maids were sort of "ladies in waiting"
Ladies in waitings are noble women who attend to the queen because she will likely match them with lord and it makes them appear higher because they are favored by the queen. Maids are lowclass women who clean and dress the ladies and royals, they aren't quiet the same.
Will there be descendents (with royal blood) of the witch that slept with the king? If so, will there be positions for that?
{|Questions|}
1.) When the people have claimed certain characters would you add their links to the claims for others to see?
2.) How old is my royalty claim expected to be?
3.) Is there a certain timezone for all the mods?

@Resy: If you discuss your character's plot with Ashley or I, you can certainly have your character be a descendant but since the King rejected the bastard child, there is no position to be taken. Since the royals don't consider that child "pure blooded", they can't be royal blood.
@Michelle:
1) Once people complete their characters, I will add links in the right application threads.
2) Your character will have to be younger than 17, since Ashley's male character who is the child born right before yours is 18.
3) It is 9:48 pm right now for me and I still have to do my homework, so I will be logging off in a matter of minutes. I'm not sure about Ashley but we both have approximately the same online times.

Perhaps continuing the family legacy of trying to take a couple of royals out of the way
How would a son of the royal family being born with the mutation of ambiguous genitalia be regarded?
It will probably vary depending on the rest of the family's personalities. I'm thinking the family members closest to him would be accepting, but the parents would have a much harder time coming to terms with it..
Can we make a royalty collaboration thread because I think it would be good?
I'm starting to work on Amber Crystal Bernières and needed a little bit of assistance with her.
Figuring out how her history should be and who she should look up to in the family. I don't know how Sebastian is but I thought that he would be good for her to look up to.
17 years of age. I'm using Ashley benson for her.
ohhh okayy well yeah he can be the person who she looks up too. Maybe they are really close siblings and Sebastian likes to keep an eye out for her
You might want to take a look at her in workshop and message me about her. I don't have her personality in just yet but I will be working on it.
Well the medieval era was the 5th to the 15th century. so maybe this can be the 6th century? because Xavier was the king 100 years ago.

A few quick questions:1) What are the FC's of the royal family? I wanted to use Ulrik Munther as the FC for the youngest but I want it to match
2) Would it be too much to ask for the youngest prince to be the youngest born at around 8-10 years old? I just really love to roleplay little kids ^-^
I would like to use my FC - Taylor Marie Hill for a lady in waiting? Is there any specifics of how I should go about that?
1.) WELCOME KIKKI! 2.) We don't really have any FC's yet for the king and queen. But people are leading towards FC with blonde or dark brown hair. So far the FC's are toby regbo, son, henry cavill, son & Ashley Benson as a daughter. Im sure Ulrik Munther would be a great aspect for a FC
3.) You can make him 8-10 yes :) Its always good to have young siblings :)
XD hehe Hiya Ashley~oh sweet~ I love using Ulrik Munther for the FC
oh, so would it be he's the youngest born to be that young? or just that whoever has the princess under him will have to do younger? I'm not sure how many people are up to rping younger than that so that's why I asked if he could be the youngest born instead ^-^
Sugar ♡ wrote: "I would like to use my FC - Taylor Marie Hill for a lady in waiting? Is there any specifics of how I should go about that?"You can make her however you want :) But don't you already have a staff member? You may claim a lady in waiting. But we were waiting for all the royal family to get claimed before allowing people to have two staff members.
Kikki. Don't you know that you're in deep? You dreamt about me nearly every night this week wrote: "XD hehe Hiya Ashley~oh sweet~ I love using Ulrik Munther for the FC

Yes, I will talk to gracie and ask if she can change around the gender slots to make Ulrik the youngest male

I didn't think that a lady in waiting would be considered staff, but instead royalty that isn't necessarily apart of the family. I'm definitely okay with waiting.

You can claim a lady in waiting now. Thats fine. You don't have a prince or princess so thats fine. I was more worried about people having a royal members and also two staff member. You don't so you can claim one.
