If you have a book that you would like to see added to the bookshelf reply to this thread with the book title and author, and I will look into adding the book. Please include any explanation you think necessary for why the book should be included. Thanks.

jon (south) | 2 comments Here's my recommendation:
Chomping at the Bitcoin by Zennon Kapron
http://www.amazon.com/Chomping-Bitcoi...
Bitcoin from the perspective of someone living & investing in China. This was published in mid-2014 so it's possibly a bit dated now, but still relevant. Recommended as a read because it has a different angle to the 'general' BTC books, is cheap, and easy to read (only 70 pages).

jon (south) | 2 comments Just recommending a couple by Tim Swanson as well. On Bitcoin:
The Anatomy of a Money-like Informational Commodity: A Study of Bitcoin
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M...

and

Great Chain of Numbers: A Guide to Smart Contracts, Smart Property and Trustless Asset Management
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I...

^^ Tim's books are generally pro-bitcoin, but that reminds me - we should include a few anti-bitcoin books as well, just for reference. Like:

BitCon: The Naked Truth About Bitcoin by Jeffrey Robinson
http://www.amazon.com/BitCon-Naked-Tr...

Hmm, these books are only available on Kindle. I was hoping to include books that were more widely available. Have you read them?

Brett Russell (brettarussell) | 1 comments Hi Nelson, please consider my recently published book Understanding Bitcoin In 46 Seconds available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. This book is focused on the many non-technical individuals that want to grasp the fundamentals. Have a look here http://understandingbitcoinbook.com/

*Edit: I added this book to the bookshelf. Thank you for organizing this very helpful group

Russell | 1 comments Hi Nelson and everybody in the group.

I am a new self publisher, focusing on cryptocurrency. The audience that I am focusing on are beginners who are struggling with this technology and are afraid to take their first steps. So my books explain the crypto technology in an easy way for anyone to understand, and people can start investing with lower risks. The list should help people to get in touch with crypto and feel more confident in their future investments. So the first book about cryptocurrency investing (134 pages) is already published and I have set up a "giveaway" for the e-book that will run from September 25th through October 9th, 2021. If it is interesting for the group, or you might suggest it to someone, I can give more details or I can create a general topic in the group about "giveaway" where we can share information about it. Please let me know if that type of proposal is acceptable in this group, and I will provide more information.

Thank you,

Russell
