--I wish we had more explanation about what happens to "the Lost" (or those who "give in" to their wolf and stop functioning). It seems as if it's a sort of...comatose almost state in Selena's mom, but Selena just mentioned that often these wolves become dangerous and spin out of control. So...how are they dangerous? What do they do when they spin out of control? What happens to them in the long-run? (hide spoiler)]

--The dialogue feels really stiff and awkward. I can't get a sense for the "relationships" behind the words because they're all talking as if they're trying not to insult one another, which perhaps is partially due to her being Alpha, but even Selena comes off as a bit TOO formal half the time. It's hard to read the emotions behind the words. (hide spoiler)]

--Why is her mom all of the sudden NOW turning rogue? Where did the rogues outside the house even come from? I feel like, instead of getting the answers to earlier questions or working on the world-building more thoroughly, we're being pushed through with the action side of the read. But...action isn't everything? I'd rather have a build-up of the story and action than be thrust into the middle of everything without proper explanation... (hide spoiler)]

--I have a strange feeling Ryan knows more about Marie's disappearance than he's letting on. (Oh, wait, it's because he's SUPER suspicious like all the time. That's not a strange feeling at all, I guess.)
--And of cooooourse, this is what the rogues/hunters had been waiting for. Silly Lena, you don't ever go chasing off after an obvious trap. That just leads to things like capture and pain and heartache!

He seems MUCH too enthusiastic about being accepted into Lena's pack when he'd been so adamant, before, about how great the freedom of going rogue had been? It doesn't quite line up. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out he's been a sort of inside-spy this whole time...and being accepted into the pack is the downfall of everything as the climax. (hide spoiler)]

The world that is created I find to be very original. I feel like I'm going on a journey to a fantasy and that's great. Did anyone else feel this way?

The author did a good job pulling in emotional substance for us readers and this made me want her to succeed as alpha. I thought if she could deal with this then she should be able to deal with what comes next. (hide spoiler)]

Realistically in a real wolf pack females aren't and cannot be alpha.

--I wish it was more clearly defined how the wolves are "separate" from their human minds. Reading it, it seems as if they're two entirely different entities with their own thoughts/emotions....but at the same time, we don't actually SEE the wolf, we're just told "Oh, my wolf is upset about this" or "oh, yeah, my wolf totally agreed with me and was fine doing blahblahblah".... So are they two different entities? Are they the same but somehow distinct? I'm confused, and wish more world-building had been done here. (hide spoiler)]

--I'm not sure this was the read for me. While I really enjoyed the concept, I wasn't a fan of the execution--I feel the world building was almost nonexistent, the tense-shifts drove me a bit batty, and nothing was really "wrapped up" at the ending. Just not my thing. (hide spoiler)]
