Guess my buddy flaked on me for Gossip Girl, i've been commenting on the tread for all 9 books i've read so far, but she hasn't, nor has she be in contact with me either. So i won't get the buddy read points since i'm the only one commenting? :(

Yep. :) As you had the buddy read for them set up, and you've made comments for them, you'll get the points.
Sorry they didn't show! It sucks when that happens. :(
Would I be able to count The Alligator Man for the challenge as it seems to be the 4th book in the Jack Tobin series but it's not listed that way. It doesn't list the second book as part of the series either on Goodreads. Wasn't even sure it was part of the series until reading and seeing some of the same characters that are in earlier books.

I forget do manga count for this challenge???
I waited to long to write one of my reviews. If I am correct I can use my status updates for it? Also we are allowed one reread right or has that changed?

Found it. Bottom of page three Sarah says "You can have as many re-reads as you like for this challenge ☺"
and you can use your status updates, as long as there are at least 4 of them

Does Delirium (group read Nov) still count as a buddy read if I'm just now getting to it? It's during the span of this challenge..
Aly, I still need to read this series. Want to read it instead of Beautiful Creatures? We can read that series next year (that suits me more).

Hello guys, long time no see :)I wanted to deeply and wholeheartedly apologize for anyone I said I'd be buddy-reading with them and ended up not doing it. I am really sorry guys, I hated this when it happened to me.
My excuse was I've been having a really really bad reading slump. I've been starting books and putting them aside and not getting back to them. Doing anything but reading whenever I've had free time, you know the usual. I honestly thought I'd make a commitment to my buddy-reads I neglected but reading slumps can get b*tch-y. I'm now slowly getting back to it & I promise I won't be getting into buddy-reads I don't plan to commit to.
