No, any book in a series counts, so you could just read book 4 in a 6 book series if you wanted too and it would count.

I'm in- got a load of series that just need me to be motivated to power through
I'm so in! Because of all these team challenges and finding new books. I was just lamenting about the fact that finishing my series had been falling by the wayside. This is great :)

There won't be a team challenge in November or December, as we'll both be quite busy leading up to Christmas (as i'm sure a lot of people will be.) so we won't have the time to run a team one. :(
They'll definately be back in the new year though. :)

This is a two month challenge running from the 1st of November to the 31st of December 2015.
The aim of this challenge is to read as many series/sequels as you can, before the new year!
The way this will work is that you will receive points based on what number book in a series you are reading, and because we love to motivate each other, a buddy read will be worth double points. Yes Double!
ex:
1st book in series
points: 1
buddy: +1
2nd book in series
points: 2
buddy: +2
3rd book in a series
points: 3
buddy: +3
and on, with a maximum of 5 points for a book (ie: if you read The Mortal Instruments #6 you will get the maximum of 5 points, +5 for a buddy read).
Novellas over 100 pages will be worth 1 point on their own, or 2 points if read with a buddy.
Rules:
• Books must be part of a series to count.
• Books must be at least 100 pages in length
Note; series Novellas with a page count of 50 - 99 pages will be worth 1 point, but ONLY if being read with a buddy (1 point includes the buddy reading points - 0.5 for book and 0.5 for buddy)
• Books must be read between November 1st - December 31st 2015.
