Muse A and Muse B both live in single parent homes until their parents meet, date and, after a while, gets engaged. Muse A’s mother died when he/she was very young and Muse B’s father left them not too long before the parents started dating. To say that Muse A and Muse B aren’t too happy with this information, is an understatement. Muse A and Muse B has yet to meet and they already dislike each other but once they finally set eyes on each other, sparks fly and soon after they instantly start to develop feelings for each other. From secret romantic meetings and sharing secret, steamy moments, the hidden romance and sexual tension between Muse A and Muse B becomes extremely noticeable and difficult to hide. But they immediately run into several problems. Not only will they become step-siblings in the future but, Muse B is already with someone. With their parent’s wedding not too far away and Muse B’s lover becoming suspicious of the two, how long can they keep this “affair” a secret?
Thanks! Can I be B? Or did you want them?
MxF is fine. Which do you want?
Do you have a preference? If not, I'll just take F again...
Well, if you want to play the F, I can do M.
I don't care either way. I'm better at F, but that doesn't mean I'm not capable of M. Your choice. ^_^
Okay. What age range? College?
Sweet. Who do you want to start?
Temperance did not like summer. The idea of having a wedding in summer made her want to puke, so that was why she was following her father to the fancy restaurant that they were supposed to meet the bride-to-be (and her son) at, trying to convince him to not follow through on the wedding for a bit. Anyway, it was a few months out- they were in late December, but she was just trying to end the wedding, period. She did not want a step-mother or -brother, and she already had a hate built up for them in her mind, even though she hadn't met them yet. She tugged on the hem of her dress a bit unladylike, and scowled as she struggled to make her legs catch up with her father's long ones.

"I said no, Tempe," Jared, Temperance's father, said with her nickname. If there was one way to get her to shut up, that was it. Her mother died when she was little- why was he replacing her? Couldn't he see it was hurting her to have this happening? She did shut up, though, crossing her arms over her chest as her father raised a hand and waved to a table, his other fist wrapping around her bicep and pulling her to the table. She scowled, lifting her eyes to the woman, who smiled, then to her son, which was when she froze at the booth.

Temperance swallowed and just stood there, locking eyes with the guy as their parents hugged. When her father shook Chase's hand, she found herself being wrapped in a hug by the new step-mother. She frowned but returned it, unused to hugging new people. "You must be Tempe!" she squealed as she stepped back to look at the girl's features. Temperance tried to not flinch at the nickname- her mother had started it. Temperance turned and gave a greeting nod to Chase; she wouldn't do anymore until she had assessed him aside from his looks (which were hot, to say the least).
They ushered to sit down, Temperance across from Chase with her father at her side.

Temperance felt eyes on her, and she slowly dragged her own from staring at a flirting Jared-and-Rachel to Chase, slowly smirking as he held out his hand. "Temperance," she replied, holding out her own hand. She studied him carefully, arching a brow. She was about to say something else when her father's laugh caught her off-guard- it sounded fake and pliable, nothing like what he used to laugh like when her mother was around. Maybe he didn't honestly like Rachel.

An amused look wavered Temperance's frown as Chase dropped her hand. "You're fine," she said smoothly, her already-somewhat deep voice dripping with accidental seductiveness. She smirked, anyway, leaning back in her seat. "So, Chase, do you regularly enjoy coming to watch stale flirting in this area?" she joked quietly, knowing their parents were too absorbed in each other to notice.

"You were promised what wouldn't happen?" Temperance prodded, arching a brow again as she looked over at the teenage-acting couple. Her stomach churned and she slowly shook her head.

Jared shrugged. "Temperance can do what she wants, if you two stay together," he replied to Rachel's silent question. Temperance nodded, sliding out of the booth, although rolling her eyes as she hated being treated like a kid. She looked to Chase and smirked, urging him to lead the way.

Temperance followed a bit after Chase, checking out his body as she did so. Her smirk returned when he looked back at her. "You prefer records or CDs?" she asked out-of-the-blue, walking past him in his pause into the shop, a music store.

Temperance continued feeling his eyes on her, landing at the stack of records next to him. "Looks like we're twins," she hummed in answer to his question, filing through some classic rock albums from a used stack. "Because of the sound or aesthetic?" She asked, fighting a smile.

"Good for you," Temperance replied, looking over at his choice record, not recognizing it before she moved over to indie records.

"Yeah.." He said as he glanced over and watched her walked over to another box. "About you?... you same like a "aesthetic" kind of girl." he said before looking back into his own box.
((It's okay; I know it's hard because we have three going XD))
"No, I like to break them and make into art." Temperance shook her head, knowing he was probably staring at her body again as she was facing away from him now. She glanced back and saw that he wasn't and smirked. "Only joking. I like the sound." She turned back to the indies and casually asked, "Do you have a girlfriend? Boyfriend?"

Temperance smirked at his two-bit answer, grabbing a couple albums and landing at an electro swing box. "Hmm... Half-yes and no..." She debated before shrugging. "I have somewhat of a boyfriend, but he's out of state for college and we're not very steady right now." Her answer basically told what she thought of Chase- that it was important she couldn't have a relationship, but messing around on the other hand...

Temperance smirked and nodded. "Yeah, well, usually guys don't like that answer; I figured I would save us that trouble." She grabbed a couple albums and found herself next to Chase again. "We're in a bit of a break." Which was half-true, anyway.
