There's a list of the books Rory has read on a checklist-y site, which shows you how many of the 339 books you've read and where you are percentage wise and in comparison to others who did the quiz.(http://www.listchallenges.com/rory-gi...) I have read 25/339, which is 7% and therefore I rank #69900 out of the 88906 users. I know it's not much, but that's what this group is for, right? So, how do you rank?

I am making myself re-read any of the books I had already done before starting the challenge. So my percentage is actually higher. I have done 15 books so 4.4 %
I've read 57 and am in the top 35%, although for the sake of full disclosure there were 2 or 3 I don't remember for sure whether I read them or not.
22! But I know I've read more, I just didn't count them if I couldn't remember much about them. Excited to get more checked off the list.
68/339, or 20%-didn't count the ones I barely remembered, of course. Very excited to improve that score! :)
I read 35 books, so #57,394 of 90,825 users (top 63%). (Though I admit there were some books I added that I was a bit iffy on - I think I have read them, as a child.)
I've read 100. For the challenge, I plan on reading the books I haven't read first, then re-reading the books I've already read.
Officially I have read 32 out of 339 books. But since I am reading them all again and starting the challenge afresh I have currently read 11. Getting there slowly
I've read 45/339. I "think" I have read more but if I was not 100% sure I've read the book I didn't mark it completed. What is the point of marking a book "read" if I don't remember anything about it? Right? For me that is the whole point of reading. It is more than ticking titles off a list.
there were a few I wasn't sure I'd "officially" read but I was so familiar with the story I counted them anyway. With children's books especially I can't always remember whether I read it even if I know the whole plot.
I've read 40. 12% and ranked 54,569 of 99,420 users (top 55%). A little above half. I confess there are several books I started and didn't finish, but I did not count them as read.

I still have to count them! But I already noticed with a glace that I miss basically all the modern American literature, I'm way better equipped with the classics and the European literature. But I'm here to strike some more!
I've read 36 to date. So, I'm on the lower end of the spectrum it looks like, but I'm looking forward to catching up.
44 books makes the 49th percentile. My goal is to read a season worth each year till I'm done. Call me crazy!!!
I've read 55ish. There's a few I read a long long time ago and I don't really remember - so a re-read is in order to make it count.
Out of such a huge list of books, one would think, surely ...surely, I've read a decent few ... but I only got 21 (6%). I'm currently ranked: #88,816 of 106,937 users.
So be it, it's called a challenge for a reason! :)

I'm just starting the challenge, but after going through the list I found 39 that I've read before. My rank: #61,810 of 111,010 users (top 56%).
jeez. I have only read 19 so far (bottom 14%). The good news is that I have many of the other titles on hand, so I should be kept busy for a while. I am a slow reader by choice. I like to fully absorb what I am reading, so it takes me a while to chew through a book.
Ok so I've been putting together my list in order of Author's surname because thrift shops and book stores always have books in this order and it will make it easier for me to find some books.Today I noticed that 'The Nancy Drew Series' is listed... that's over 100 books! Do we have to read them all to complete the challenge or would the fist 4-5 be enough? Has anyone else reached this point in their reading and decided what they are going to do?
Kathryn
I've already read 34 books so far. This month I read two: "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and "A Moveable Feast". I am trying to read at least 12 books from the challenge per year. But this year I read more. :)
I've only read 15 but when starting the challenge I decided to re-read any I'd read in the past, otherwise it would be a lot higher ;p
I've read 32 books from Rory's list, but I hope next year I will read 2 or 3 books per month from this challenge. And maybe I'll read some more this year :D
I've read 80 books from this list - quite surprise, but many of them were required reading back when I was in school, or popular for book clubs. Found a few on the list I'm quite keen to get my hands on, so that's exciting!
43 of 339 (13%)#69,738 of 148,380 users (top 48%)
Wow! Way more than I thought! But still so many to go!
So the "how it works" page says we use the list on Black, White and Read. So I made a List Challenge of that list, going in order of episode and avoiding duplicates. I have read 33 of 247 or 13%. I'm sad because of the 339 book long list I had read 43 books, even though I'm still at the same percentage read.... loosing those other 93 book means I've read 10 less books.here is the new List Challenge:
