OKAY GAME ON!!!! I posted another thread below this thread to post your shelves touched and the number of books you read. You may post your update throughout the week or at the end of the week. Please do not list the books, as you may give other players the advantage. I have the final list of participants on that same thread.

i thought i was doing pretty good, until i saw some other numbers. yikes!
question: once we read more than one book, do we give total numbers of books and shelves at that point? also, and i'm sure this is covered somewhere but i forget, does a shelf count more than once for the total number of shelves? and one more, we're only using the 350 shelves listed on the spreadsheet, correct?
sorry for all of the questions, i just want to make sure i count everything correctly!

Yes you give me the total of shelves from each book. So if the first book is 9 shelves and the second is 10 shelves you would post:
19 shelves
2 books
The shelves only count once. So if you cross off fiction, you do not count it again.
Yes you are only using the 350 shelves listed. So if a shelf is listed in the first five pages that is not there, it does not count. Hope this helps!
Wow, I already feel behind the game - I have yet to finish a book and some of you have read and finished up to 6 or 7 since Saturday, wow! Oh well, I'm not out to win, just to have fun :)

I have a couple books I had started before Aug 1st to finish and I've had to work 12 hour shifts most of the first few days of August!! I have started a new one though and hopefully can start catching up a little!
