Diane S ☔ Thanks for the link Gill. I had read somewhere before about the red cross and the family camp but never knew that after 6 months they sent everyone to the crematorium. This book makes such an impact because it is so personal and especially knowing how young he was at the time. The blue skies will stick with me as well, I never really though before that even though they were living a nightmare, shut away, they were still under the same sky. Yes, I am glad we could discuss this as we went along, this is a book that needs to be shared and a little easier to read because of it.
