BirdiesBookshelves | 45 comments I heard about this book on a book podcast but cannot remember which one or the name of the book. It was described as a book for book lovers about a man who works at a factory where they pulp books. He starts taking all the books so they can't be destroyed and soon his apartment is overflowing with them. It sounds similar to The Reader On The 6.27 but I don't remember a love story being the center of the story. It seemed more about the man loving and saving literature. Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about!

Thanks!

Here's one review of The Reader on the 6.27 by Jean-Paul Didierlaurent with details that may help you decide if this is your book:

Kevin Stebner | 3 comments I would very much bet it's Hrabal's Too Loud a Solitude. It's great too!
