There was no way for Luke to get out without passing by the girl. Another guy jostled him right as he passed and he stumbled, bumping right into her.

Layla spilt some of her beer and looked up at him. "Um hi," she said and set her beer down. She raised her eyebrows up in question.

[Ruth]

"Hi," Luke said, quickly stepping back. "Sorry about that."

Layla shook her head, "no worries," she said looking up at him. She gestured for him to sit.

[Ruth]

Luke narrowed his eyes, scoping out the situation. This could be a trap, but he wasn't getting that feeling from her. Shrugging, he pulled up the stool beside her.

"What's your name?" She asked and took another drink from her beer. She looked at him, trying to figure him out. He seemed a little skittish, but alright.

[Ruth]

"Luke," he replied simply. "Yours?"

"Hello Luke, I'm Layla," she said amused. She still couldn't figure out what was different about him.
