Phil Shaddick | 1 comments I have just finished reading Blood Borne and still feel excited especially as the ending was a complete surprise. This book was a highly original and imaginative take on the end of world genre. I especially enjoyed the emotional struggles and conflicts between the characters. I have read this authors books before and have been impressed by how she pulls you in and doesn't let go. If you're look for something new, thrilling, meaningful and entertaining look no further.

Barbm1020 | 57 comments I've been reading a lot of fiction but last week I borrowed a beautiful book of arctic wildlife photography from the library. I'm really enjoying it. Polar Obsession by Paul Nicklen Oops, did not realize "Something Different" is not the topic here. Sorry.

Diana Gotsch | 18 comments One of the reasons I joined a book club 2 years ago was to expand my reading habits. I was reading the same authors and genres. My friends in the club have introduced me to several new authors, New to me at least, and widened me reading. Most recently was Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend by Matthew Dicks. I would not have picked this one up on my own. I now want to read his other books.
