Only just found my way to this corner and am posting to see what happens, if anything, and if I am able to find it again in the future. Nothing seems to be where they were left.

I know my place. Back in the corner again. Have thought about joining a monthly challenge but see to have a stack of books to read and authors to follow that it doesn't fit well with my reading so far but you never know.
2016 is under way. I went for 100 books with a personal proviso of reading 1 factual book per month to stretch the mind a little and because I seem to have a backlog of titles. I expect many regular readers find the same. Am I correct in feeling that Goodreads is dominated by female readers but then none of my male friends read books regularly, they don't know what they are missing.
I seem on course to reach my target at the end 9of the year set at 100 books. Currently 5 up on target. I've been less successful with the 12 non-fiction books although I joined the fiction to reality challenge with six pairs of books as a target. Currently, I'm on the last pair reading Philby KGB Masterspy by Phillip Knightley to go with, The Riddle of the Sands by Erskine Childers a novel set before WW1 and involves plans to make an invasion of England. A round not a bad reading year so far.
