Her head whipped around, locking gazes with the man she'd watched earlier. "Get down before you get yourself killed!" She shouted, and with a flick of her hand he was Forced down beside his friend. Alaya ran towards the Storm Troopers, her hood falling off in the process, before plunging her lightsaber into both enemies.
Alaya took a shaky breath, stumbling as she walked clutching her side, a wince marked across her features. She approached the man, looking him up and down. He was much taller, but then again, she was tiny. "What do you think you were trying to do back there?" Alaya seethed, before clenching her teeth in pain from the pounding feeling of blood escaping her body.

"I don't know what they were doing here." She winced as he came to support her, sighing softly. "Not always kicked out as it seems." Alaya laughed, but blew in a pained breath immediately after. Then she felt it. Several thousand midichlorians in his body, swarming like an infestation of a disease, but they were no disease. She looked at him with wide eyes, shaking her head once more. "I'm Alaya Skywalker. And, you are?" Alaya knew she would have to further question the handsome man parents once they reached his home. Maybe he was related to an old Jedi who had hidden out here away from the Empire long ago. Questions raced through her mind as the two trailed through the sand and towards one of the planets many housings.

"Here we are," he finally said as they approached a small farm house. "Mum! Lyme!"

"Yes, he's my father." She chuckled at his enthusiasum, rolling her eyes as if it were obvious why she was here. "To protect the galaxy of course. It's what we Jedi do." Alaya listened intently, cocking her head to the side playfully as he talked. She turned her head to look at the farm house, it reminding her of her fathers on Tattooine. "Captain? I've never heard of your or your ship before." Alaya teased, wincing as she pressed further into the wound to keep her body from releasing too much blood. "Thank you, by the way. Not many people would offer to help on planets like these. Well, usually not without a price or trade."

His mum and little sister Lyme came running out of the farmhouse hearing his shouts.
"She's a Jedi, mum, and she was shot," Kyp explained.

"Well, now it is." Alaya laughed at his persistence, eyes semmeing to glow in the sunlight. "Nope. It's never crossed my path, your ship." She watched as a small girl came running out, and another - an older woman - came out to greet them. "Hullo," she waved lightly down to the little girl who looked up at her with big eyes. She felt her body be switched from Kyps to the woman's, and then she was led inside, and laid down on a table. "Your home is very lovely." Alaya complimented the woman, before her eyes trailed up to Kyp who stood at her side.

Kyp's mum took her and brought her into the tiny farmhouse.
It made Kyp smile every time he came here. Even though it was small it was always clean and homey. There was his mum and dads room was at the back, and that's where they laid her down.
"Why thank you, miss," his mum beamed at her compliment. "My name is Jalayne Du-Jabar, and this is my daughter, Lyme. Lyme, can you get me the bandages?"
Lyme nodded and disappeared into the cupboard. She was quiet most of the time, but made Kyp think a lot of himself. He didn't expect it to be too long before she left as well.
Soon Lyme returned and Jalayne began to sterilize and bandage the wound.
"I'm sorry if I'm hurting you, miss."

"It's very nice to meet you, Jalayne." Alaya was polite as ever, trying to leave a good impression on the family. She didn't move at all as the woman sterilized her wound. This wasn't her first time being shot. "No, it's quite alright. I'm used to this sort of thing." She smiled, and as the woman lifted her tunic, a deep scar was shown across the right side of her abdomen, an old wound from a duel as a youngling with lightsabers. "I do hope you don't find this rude, but would you mind if I had a moment alone with your mother?" The young Jedi woman looked at the two with a warning smile, hoping they would understand.

"Hm? Oh, I guess not," he said when she asked to speak to them alone. It seemed bizarre, but he wasn't going to mention it. "I'll just see if Dad needs any help. Later, Mum."
Lyme vanished a few seconds after him.
"So what are you wanting to talk to me about?" Jalayne asked after they were both gone.

Alaya looked up at the the older woman, her eyes searching the other woman's. "Does your family have any relation with any other Jedi? Jedi are found to have several midichlorians inside of them — it's what helps us control the Force. We're able to feel the midichlorians in other Jedi." She explained thoroughly, hoping Jalayne got the point. "I felt thousands inside of your son. He's very capable to control the Force, and with your permission, I would like to take him back to the Jedi Praxeum and have him trained to become a Jedi Knight. He would be in good hands, I can assure you."

"Except..." She paused. "No that's absurd. But my husband, Ben, told me he never knew his father. There was a secret surrounding his birth, and his mother had to lie about it. You don't suppose..." She turned to face her. "It's not possible. Why would Kyp have it, and not Ben or Lyme?"

"It's different with everyone. Your husband could've had that many midichlorians but without training, they may have never awakened and he's probably to old by now for any training." Alaya shrugged as she sat up running a finger through her hair. "Thank you for everything you've done. It's completely your decision to let Kyp come with me." As the silenced seemed to deafening, Alaya sighed, sadly smiling. "Goodbye Mrs. Du Jabar. Send Kyp my thanks." She pulled her good back over her head, swiftly moving out of the farm house and towards the sandy hills, and the town where her small ship was.

Kyp was talking to his father, and helping his put up a trellis in the garden. He turned his head and saw the Jedi girl basically running from the house. "Hold on, Dad," he said, and jogged after her.
"Hey!" He called. "Mum didn't scare you that bad, did she?"

Alaya whipped her head around, shaking her head with laughter. "No, not at all. I probably scared her more, with all of my foolish talk." She shook her head once more, looking up into his eyes. "Kyp, what if you had the chance to become a Jedi? What would you do then?" She asked, her hand falling to her lightsaber. She pulled it out, holding it out to him. "Go on, try it out. It won't hurt you, I promise." Alaya chuckled lightly, eyes staring at him as she waited for him to feel the weapon in his hands, feel the Force flow through him.

"Yes. You have to be born with midichlorians, it's what helps your control the Force." Alaya watched as he pressed a button, and the lightsaber burst to life. "The Force is strong in my family. My father has it. I have it. His sister has it." She placed a hand on his arm and yet again, inside of him she could feel thousands upon thousands of midichlorians inside of this young mans body. Alaya smiled softly, before taking the lightsaber back into her hands, and tying it to her hip once more. "You have that power too."
