From what little I read about Jefferson Bethke:

It appears he is most likely NOT a Calvinistic, Reformed, Sovereign God and His Election process, Wrath to Come and eternal Hell for Satan and his children...kind of Christian. Basically what the Bible is FULL OF.

If atheists are applauding his work - then there's bound to be something seriously wrong with it. But maybe not.
