Disturbing: that's how I felt reading this book. I read it fairly quickly, partly because I was hooked and partly because I wanted it to be over but needed to finish it. I wouldn't call it enjoyable. I reminded me of watching the 'Taken' movies. I was like a rabbit caught in a spotlight and couldn't walk away. My next read HAD to be chic lit.

This was one of my 5 star reads for this year.
I read the book very quickly, but it's a book that's taken the best part of a fortnight to shake from my system.
Exactly. Sort of like reading a nightmare.
