What were your feelings about Talia at the beginning of the story? Did you have any resentment towards her because of her relationship with David Maxwell and what she did to Sean?

I have to admit I put off reading this book, even though I had it from the library, since I was not inclined to consider Talia to be a heroine in any book!

Me, too, Charlene!!! It languished on my shelf for two years until you joined the series:)

Wow! I'm glad we both got to it eventually.

While this one languished on my shelf as well, it wasn't due to any concern about Talia not being heroine material. It was simply my reluctance to finish a series (I have a problem with this, I freely admit it).

I really never blamed Talia for her actions with David. She was just as much a victim as the others and did what she needed to protect her sister and herself.

At best, I was on the fence about Talia. She was largely the reason I kept putting it off.
