Gisela Hafezparast | 242 comments I read this autobiography quite a long time ago and re-read it a year ago with my teenage children and it is definately one of the best biographies I have read. It is very informative about a character which people depending on their political orientaton seem to either love or hate. For my part I think he was a great man, despite the failings he clearl had. Also really informative re the Nation of Islam.

None of my libraries had a copy, so have ordered a second hand one from amazon.

Pink Glad you're getting a copy Paul, I could have sent you mine otherwise. Looking forward to discussing this one and seeing what others think of it.

Gisela, I agree it's a really great biography. Gives you a real insight into his life and his thinking.

Thanks for the offer Pink. I'll probably send mine on to someone else afterwards

I fancy this one, the county has one library copy apparently - would have thought they should have had more, given the area I live in is hugely multicultural and very hot on Black History Month, for example.

Neither of mine had a copy.
