Who is favorite Character from TMI and why?

Mine is Simon because he I can relate to everything about him (except the facts that he was a vampire and lost his memory). His life in general along with his geekiness makes him my favorite character. :)

I love Clary, because she was so good at adapting to difficult situations, and she stayed strong throughout the entire series
I love Jace because he was always hilarious and hella badass.
I love Simon because he was always such a devoted friend, and also kinda funny
I love Alec because he is super sassy sometimes, and of course MALECCCC
I love Magnus because his character is so hilarious, and he isnt afraid to express himself
Izzy is also super cool because shes so badass, but is also so kind and caring and stuff.
I even love Raphael, and i was real sad, when, you know....
and Luke, Jordan, and Maia are all pretty cool too.

This is a hard question but I must say Jace. He was probably the first character I fell completely in love with and had an emotial connection with. It might be the fact that we have a lot in common or his perfect sarcasm, I don't know but I love him truly.

My favorite TMI character is probably Simon, LOL. I loved him since page one. He’s sweet, nerdy and relatable. He isn’t normally that annoying/cocky/stubborn like some other characters in the book. I will say, like any other character, Simon has made some stupid choices throughout the books (especially in COFA with the girlfriend drama) but I still love his character with my whole heart. I wish Simon was MY best friend instead of Clary’s! Haha..

So far, as I'm new to this series (books and TV show), it's Jace, Alec, Izzy, Clary, Simon, Raphael, and Magnus.

(view spoiler)[Simon is adorable as a nerdy vampire, as I like nerdy guys in general. Funny how being a vampire didn't change this personality, just his diet, LOL. And he adds comic relief to everything too. (hide spoiler)]

I wish Simon was a real character as he would make a great best friend. I could also use more screen time for Raphael. Not only is he easy on the eyes, he has such a SEXY, smooth VOICE! I could listen to him talk all day.

Magnus is interesting, and I'd like to read HIS story in The Bane Chronicles someday.....Charming, funny, good-looking Magnus.

He is a natural leader. He cares for his siblings more than his life and obviously he loves Magnus.
Ever since the moment we were introduced to him I knew he would be my favourite character and he was. It is just a shame that we couldn't get more Alec time.
The mortal instruments would be a lot more enjoyable if he was as prominent as Jace or Clary. He has a lot of demons to fight (literally and figuratively) and that in the end just makes him a more complex character.

I love Alec too, and I think the expressions he gets on his face "say" way more than words. He's not much for words anyway, in general. But his face says it all.

I love all the characters, personally, but I feel Isabelle is my favourite, though she's not relatable. The way her black eyes are always described as fragile, and yet she's so strong, and sassy and stubborn, and she's always described as gorgeous. I love how she evolves as a character, learning to admit her love for Simon. In the Tales of the Academy, she's given a new perspective, and learns and grows through it. And the way she was involved in the test :) I also just love how Clary and Izzy's relationship gets better, it and Clalec are my number one BROTPs

Mine would have to be two character just because I literally cannot pick between them. Alec would be my first pick just because I related so much to him. When I was in the closet I totally acted like him and reading about a character that had the representation for the first time hit close to home.

However, I do love developed villain characters and I found Sebastian so easy to love. The way she played off with his snarky attitude and how much control he had was awesome. During reading the entire series his part in it were the only ones a really truly enjoyed, which is sad because I wish I could have enjoyed the rest of the TMI like that.

My favorite character is definitely Alexander Gideon Lightwood-Bane. He was a big inspiration for me when I was in middle school. Also...Malec. Malec was also another huge part in my coming out. I kinda realized that I didn't have it that bad compared to these book characters. He seems like such a bad guy but he is actually just a cinnamon roll. Him and I are actually pretty similar. I love that post that's like (not word for word) 'Your favorite character just resembles another version of you' and someone said 'Yes because I am an 18 year old male who is in love with an 800 year old warlock' because yes I am also in love with Magnus Bane...

I would have to say Isabelle. She wasn’t my favorite in the beginning (probably too invested in the Clary and Jace relationship smh) but she’s such an inspiration. A badass. A warrior. She’s just amazing.
