I can't remember the name :( help

Soo it has just been like a month since i have read this book but i cannot remember the name. It was a mc book. Hero did not like the heroine because she looked like someone he was with before . Heroine did the cleaning/cooking jobs for the mc. Hero hurt her physically one time and after that he started to act nice to her! Ahh please help me find the name of it! It is driving me crazy

Thank you Darcy but unfortunately it's not it. In the book i have mentioned , the hero and the heroine were younger .. Hmmm i'll try to write the things i remember about the book and maybe you'll remember. Hero actually makes someone act bad towards heroine because he wants her gone from mc.
she looks like his ex girlfriend. I can't remember any more details :(

Is book fairly new, do you remember the author name?. Do you remember what city the book set at ?. By mc do you mean biker or police ? . Is it under romance, erotic, contemporary, NA, YA, suspense ???
