Monica sneaked up on him. "Boo!" She whispered in his ear

Night turned to his ear, smiling, he recognized the voice. He put the book down. "Hey Monica."

"Hello Night, how's the book?" She asked and sat in the chair next to him

Night smiled. "Pretty good."

"Cool" Monica said. "Hungry?" She asked

Monica blushed slightly. "Um, you- nevermind!" She said. "So, um, big place, the academy isn't it?" Monica asked

Night smiled. "Monica." He knew that wasn't the question.

Monica covered her face with her hands. "Why did you do that, you know, when I was reading?"

Night looked around. "This academy is pretty big."

"Yeah it is" Monica said with relief.

Monica peaked through her fingers. "Are you going to answer my question? Or should I drop the subject?" She asked.

Night smiled at her and said sheepishly. "I-I think I kinda like you......"

Monica said nothing, she looked behind her then around the room. "M-me?" She asked pointing to herself a little shocked. "But I threw eggs and flour at you, I tried to throw an apple at you, and I'm annoying as h***" she said. "Like I like you to but you liking me? That's just-and I'm gonna shut up now..." No if a blushed furiously and looked at the ground.

Night stood and looked at the ground. "Yeah, I know. It's stupid. I'll just...."

"No it's my fault" Monica stood up and walked away. She plucked up her courage and turned around to face him. She kissed him lightly on the cheek. "Bye" she said smiling and vanished

Night smiled at her. "Where'd you go?" And sat back down.

"Ooh, I'm here there, everywhere" Monica smirked sitting on one of the shelves
