I've made it to chapter 12.

(view spoiler)[ It was so sad how Lynn accidently shot her mother. I can't imagine how terrible that would have to be, especially the type of world that she lives in. I'm kind of glad that Lynn came across Eli and Lucy. Even though it was under sad circumstances. Lynn seems so alone, even when her mother was alive she still had the feeling of loneliness about her. I am wondering who are the bad men that keep taking people's supplies. It seems like Lynn might be about to meet them. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7: (view spoiler)[I had a feeling Mother would have to die for the story to move on, but I had still hoped the author wouldn't take that bait. Oh well, I'm still enjoying this despite it all. ^_^ (Am I the only one fascinated by Stebbs? Underground water, maybe?) (hide spoiler)]

I finished the book. ALL THE FEELLSSS! Definitely the best survival book I have read this year.
