Thank you for your concerns, you two! It really warmed my heart. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be beginning this book anytime soon (or just any book)... I barely made it to the hospital before my grandfather passed away. I have a few things to settle here, then I will be back up North with my family.

Chapter 2: (view spoiler)[I'm not sure how I'm supposed to take the very modern vibe coming from Medusa's thoughts. I mean, she's stuck on an island but she seems to be worldwide aware. Other than that, I do enjoy a good spin on Greek mythology. Especially considering the fact that Medusa is a villain in the real myth. ^_^ (hide spoiler)]

I had only heard of Two versions, one where Medusa was a mortal divinity and born a monster and the one where she defied Athena by stating that her looks were far greater than her. #themoreyouknow.
