She's like the tide, constantly changing. Depending on the moon cycle, she can be happy or sad, easy to managed or difficult.

History:
She's had a slightly difficult childhood. Because of her ever changing mood, she's been diagnosed as bipolar, but the drugs that she was supposed to take to counter it, messed her up even more. So she stopped taking it, and just dealt with the changing moods. She's aware of her elemental powers, she became aware when she was taken by the tide, but did not drown. Her brothers had been searching for her all night, and when they found her drenched they fussed over her. But for Ianthe, she had had an experience. This was when she was 8years old, so her memory is a little vague. But she remembered that when she was in the water, she had seen the moon through the water, and it had been like the tide had been calling her. It took her a few years to realise that she had controlled the tide that night that saved her life. But her brothers don't know.

Family?:
She has six older brothers, and two very busy parents. Half of her brothers dote on her, the other half whine about her moodiness. Her parents, they love her, but don't know what to do with her sometimes.

History: Jake has a somewhat sad history: When Jake was just a baby, he was put in an orphanage since his parents didn't want him because he wasn't the "perfect" son that they hoped for. When he was 5 years old, he discovered his powers during a storm at his school. After discovering his powers, the people at the school and orphanage called him a freak and hurtful things that no one should call a little kid so he ran away living by himself. At age 13, he was still living on the streets going from one place to another and working wherever he could. At age 15, he was going to a high school, had a girlfriend and he lost his powers because he hadn't used them for a long time and was determined to keep it like that when a couple of men came to his school with guns and went to his class room that he was in when his girlfriend stood up to one of them after one of the men was bearing her friend and was shot in the heart right on the spot and as he watched her the only person in the world that he lived and care about fall to the ground dead, something broke inside of him like all his anger and fury that was building inside of him contained suddenly exploded through his entire body making him gain his powers back and he killed all those men in anger and fury then after seeing all of the other students looking at him frightened and scared he ran away again. At age 16, he was living with an abusive family when he got accepted to the college and quickly left the house without a glance back as he headed to the college
