I am reading Out of the Dust for a reading assignment, Raven Boys, The Immortal Rules, and Sword of Summer.

The book is about a girl who lives in Oklahoma during the Dust Bowl in the 40's.

Yeah. The author makes it into interview style. It is actually after the war and he talks to the "survivors". It's actually really good.
