My book just got into the library so I'm going to pick it up Friday when I get off work early.
Has anyone read it yet?
Started it, I meant
No I forgot to go to the library after work, it was just so hot out. I will either try to go tomorrow before work or next week because I will be gone Sunday-Tuesday.
I haven't started it either haha
I might get before work today or Wednesday next week.
I started! I'll wait until you guys start before I comment though :) All I can say is I'm enjoying it YAY!
I'm 60 pages in! It's hard to tell as I'm reading an ebook but it seems like 60 so haha but yeah it's pretty good so far

I like Elias and kinda pity him but Laia though... The things she has to endure under the Commandant. That woman is one hell of a raging bitch.

Kelaia (Keenan/Laia) or Elaia (Elias/Laia)? Currently I'm shipping Kelaia because Keenan is so cute when he's shy and being all sweet and romantic I swear I will slowly wither into nothing if Sabaa Tahir kills him off.
Sabaa Tahir is the most evil author I've ever read. Honestly. Not even J.K Rowling, John Green, and Rick Riordan combined could break my heart this much. She's so good but so evil and AHHHHH if you've read a bit further in the book you'd know what I'm talking about.
I've just posted a rage status on Facebook but I feel like one status isn't enough to express my anger and heartbrokenness and yes I'm refraining from saying everything in capital letters as I don't think you would appreciate that
I FINISHED THE BOOK
I finished too! Oh my gosh, my respect for the author went WAY up. She's not afraid to put her characters through hell in order for them to grow. But geez, I felt terrible for them half the time. Rough. Very rough. Personally I'm still so angry at (view spoiler)
Is the second book out yet?
I know right, you could totally see the character development and progress and everything! And the second book, A Torch Against The Night, will be out April 26th next year. CAN'T WAIT

I finished the book awhile back and forgot to post it. Just to find out the next book isn't even out. Great. Lol
I just transferred to a new job so work has been crazy and taking up a lot of time. So I don't think I will be able to read this book anymore.
