[ Sorry I disappeared! Holy crap I love your writing style! :) Hmm well in the other rp, is she going to be pregnant yet, and if so, how far? ]
Grayson was not in a good mood.
He'd woken up bright and early, at 4am, to be exact. For the first time, Gray had been entrusted solely with the care of the ranch. He'd been working at the ranch for three years, but the boss was always around. While he loved his job, waking up early sucked ass. Gray had spent the entire morning cleaning stalls, and it had to be over a hundred degrees. It felt like he was dying—but hey, this was his job. He was built for it too; a solid abdomen, lethal muscles, the works. Even now he was shirtless, jeans hanging low on his hips, coupled with one of his favorite belts. Thankfully, he'd finished up the majority of the heavy work, and finally was going to be able to get in her own ride.
Gray was in love with his horse. With all the flings he had, his mare was the only girl he needed. He liked a lot of the other horses as well, but none as much as his mare, Spade. A purebred Quarter Horse; she was a beautiful bay, trained to perfection by Grayson himself. After giving her a good brush, he bridled her, opting for riding bareback. He roamed the fields, allowing Spade to graze, and enjoy in the peace and quiet. There was nothing but him, the open land, and the horses. Just the way he liked it. Spade was an angel too. As were the other horses.
Gray had only been informed of his boss' reason for leaving the day prior. He was getting his daughter—a girl he faintly remembered from years past. She was going to some prestigious boarding school, something Gray himself could never afford, nor would he want to go. There was no other life than this for him, but sometimes he wondered.
He'd been allowing Spade to graze so leisurely, he was almost startled when he heard the pick-up rumbling into the drive. Spade raised her head, and Gray frowned. God. He was not in the mood for a welcome party. From what he could tell, the girl was stuck-up and snobby, and didn't belong on the ranch. She went to a private school, for God's sake. Never had he spoken to her, and he didn't plan on changing that fact. Grayson dismounted, and approached the car with Spade in hand.

[ Thank you!!! Sounds good, I'll try to post on that soon before I fall asleep cx. I think I'll start when she's just found out, and she's going to tell him? Was it unplanned? ]
The girl was pretty, to say the least. Yeah, he'd definitely seen her before. The moment her father turned his head, he gave her a good once over, accompanied by a crude smile. She may have been the boss' daughter, but Gray wasn't about to pull out a guitar and sing campfire songs with her. "Hey," He murmured in greeting, his voice low and husky. Gray had always been known for his deep and rough voice, it was part of what made him a decent singer on the side.
He turned his attention away from her, languidly stretching his muscles. "Boss, I turned out, did stalls, went for a ride." Gray informed him, stretching his words, and glancing over at the daughter every so often. He couldn't recall her name, and he had the sudden urge to know it. "I'm sure you're glad to have your daughter home. How long is she staying?" There was a sort of tension to the situation, or at least on his part. The girl was just so...cheery. He felt slightly rude not asking her directly, but what did it matter.
She was pretty though. Pretty like the girls Gray typically had flings with. His perspective was changing; and he was sort of glad the girl had come home for the summer. He cleared his throat, shifted his shoulders, and reached out his hand. "Sorry I never introduced myself, I'm Grayson. I don't know if you remember me, but I've been helping your father out for a few years now," Gray explained, his hand still and waiting for a handshake. Surprisingly enough, in appearance, she seemed to be his type. Pretty, in a subtle kind of way, something not everyone would notice. She had curves in all the right places too, and it almost seemed as though she wasn't aware of her beauty.
