Thought just came to me, any interest in doing something involving a heist with a bit of a cat and mouse element?
I was thinking two complete strangers get hired to do a job for some guy, only to end up getting hunted down for whatever they stole, forcing them to work together?
Cool, so I was thinking one can be a highly trained ex-marine and the other a grifter/thief? I'd like to be the female for this one if that is alright
Awesome, we can just do simple characters like in our other, which do you want the ex-marine or grifter/thief? As for age, it can range from 25 to 30.
Robyn took her time disarming the security grid in the air vents that is directly above the Pink Star Diamond. Once she was free and clear of any early security problems, she began moving through the vents as silent as a mouse. Stealing the Pink Star Diamond wasn't an easy task, is was more of a happy challenge that could possibly kill her in the process considering the five stage system security in place. Of course, the Diamond wasn't her target objective, it just happened to be her prize since it was near the scriptural piece of rock. As she went through the stages of the security, she stood began opening her bag, placing the Scripture in before heading for the diamond
[ They are working together, she figured a way in, he has a way out. They just aren't using any communication devices because its would be picked up by the security frequency which I was going to mention in the second post. Sorry for the confusion, I should've been clearer! ]
Robyn smiled as she at the Pink Star diamond that was incased in glass. She glanced at her watch, she had two minutes to get the diamond and three to make her exit. She was glad put in some additional time so her new partner wouldn't know what she was up too. She quickly cut the glass open before spraying the inside with a substances to see the laser grid as she tried carefully removed the diamond and substituted with a fake. Just as she finished, the alarm with off and she cursed before making a run for the elevator shaft, on her long run, she spotted a team in black masks. "We got to move now." She yelled as she slide down, bumping into him.
"It wasn't my fault." Robyn angrily replied as they made their down the elevator and out the building before hoping into the car. "Got the scripture, burn some rubber buddy because we've got company and they've got guns!" Robyn said as she glanced at her side, see the same masked guys as they rushed after them, guns aimed at them. She ducked down as the shots began to fire. "Drive faster!" She yelled at him, as a car started chasing them. What are the odds that two teams would be hitting the same gallery at the same time? Robyn leaned down between her legs as she checked on the goods, she put her diamond somewhere safe that Jason won't find it and decide to kill her for it.
Robyn gritted her teeth as she kept looking behind them at the black sedan that was chasing them. These guys were serious and really stupid. She could already hear sirens nearby which means the cops were onto them. "Damn it." She cursed as she panicked looking for a way to get around this. "Take the next exit there!" She shouted as more shots were being fired. She was familiar with this area and could better loose these guys. "Make a hard left on the red light, then enter the tunnel, there is a warehouse filled with cars we can switch into." She told him.
Robyn held on tight to her sit. Her heart racing as she hoped they can get away. Once they were in the warehouse, she knew they only had a couple of minutes to make their escape. She secured her diamond on her person before walking over to him. "Here, we don't have any time. Its better if we split up and meet at the location the client gave us." She said handing Jason the duffle bag with the scripture. She looked at him for a second before pulling him in for a kiss, "For good luck." She said with a grin as she ran to simple car no one would notice and drove off. The car chase, mixed with being shot at and stealing, had happily gone to her head.
Two days later, Robyn found herself entering an elevator as she was meeting the client that had contracted her for the job. She had heard that from the client that Jason had got out alright, so now all she needed was to get paid for the heist. She smiled as she entered the large condo to see Jason already there. "Well hello there stranger." She said with a grin as she moved towards him.
Robyn pulled her sunglasses over her head as grinned at Jason. Perhaps it was the chase and adrenaline from last time, but she certainly found him more attractive then she original had. When she first met him, she thought he was just some jarhead marine, but it had slowly changed her opinion of him. "Well, he seems to be taking his sweet time getting here." Robyn whined, not wanting to stay longer than necessary, though she considered asking Jason out for drinks after this. "So sorry for upsetting Robyn. I'm sure you both have places to be, so lets finish our little exchange." The Client said as he waltzed over to them with two briefcases in his hands. "The Artifact." he said glancing between them.
The Client examined the scripture for several minutes before smile and handing them their briefcases. "You'll find all of your money is there as we agreed." He told them putting the scripture into another more secure container. "What so special about that scripture anyway? I'm curious because we nearly got killed getting it." Robyn asked him as she grabbed her briefcase, glancing at the content before shutting it. The Pink Star diamond was worth much more than that scripture.
"What do you mean? What someone else after it?" The Client said panicking.
"Are you certain? Do you know what they looked like?" The Client began looking nervous as he gripped the container with the scripture. Robyn glanced at Jason. "We aren't stupid enough to endanger our own lives, so yeah we lost them. They were wearing masks with something red on their forehead of it. " Robyn said with a shrug as she began heading for the door to leave this place with her cash and head to a lovely island with her diamond.
"This isn't good." he muttered to himself.
"Perhaps your right." The Client said clearly still nervous. That was when they heard loud shooting from the room next them.Bullet came flying in through the room, Robyn continued to press the elevator button but it wasn't working. She headed for the stairs, only too see three men in the same mask coming up. "Any ideas on how to get out?" She asked turning to Jason.
Robyn followed closely behind Jason, cursing under her breath, she turned behind to find that their client was following them. "Great, we have a third wheel." She muttered to Robyn as she clung to her briefcase. "Here take it, you can't let them have it." He said to her as he grabbed her arm. She pulled her arm away from him. "If it is between my life and a scripture, I pick my life every time, so why don't you just leave that there for them." Robyn told him as she pushed the scripture back. She glanced to the side to see the masked guys as they began shooting.
Robyn moved quickly, happily obeying Jason as he yelled at them. She headed for the car, when she felt a tug on her and turned to their client. "Stop that." She shouted, when she noticed he'd been shot as he fell down. "Please, take the scripture, if you don't they will find and kill you anyway along with hundreds of others. Please." he said out of breath.
"Jesus Christ." Robyn mutters as she saw the masked guys gaining on them. She shook her head, cursing herself as she looked into the man's eyes and nodded, taking the scripture and hopping in the car.
Robyn stared back at the clients body as they drove off before she could no longer see him in the distances. "I have no idea but we need to get out of town now." Robyn said as she ran a hand through her head. She glanced at the rearview mirror to see if there were any cars, so far none. "Don't know, I don't even understand why they want the damn thing, it isn't even that special otherwise I would have stolen it for myself." Robyn said as she looked at the scripture, her hands hand some blood smeared onto them.
"Guess your right, but how did they find us to begin with? I made sure I wasn't followed. You?" Robyn said as she thought back to anything that caught her eyes in the past couple of hours but nothing stood out. "I'm fine. Just pissed. How about you?" She said glancing at him. She definitely owed him one for getting them out there.
"That could be it, but by the way he was so sneaky and suspicious, I don't think he was careless. Plus, he seemed to know who those guys were." Robyn said as she pondered over it. "We should find a place to hide out and think of a plan so that we stay alive." Robyn said with a sigh.
[ Yup ]Robyn groaned as they arrived at a cheap motel, there was nothing she hated more than a motel. She lived for the five star stuff, where someone was always at her beck and call. "This place is gross." She told Jason with a nudge as she had tried to convince him, staying at the Hiltons would be better, even if it was dangerous. She clung to her duffle bag where she put all of her money in.
"Nasty, this place is the definition of disgusting." Robyn said as she paced around, afraid to even sit anywhere because nothing in this placed screamed sanitary. She peeked into the bathroom with much regret. "I think, I've just lost my appetite." She said glancing at Jason.
Robyn turned around to look at Jason. "Happily." she said moving towards the door. "I can use a couple of drinks in my system if I have to sleep in this place." She told him as she grabbed her jacket and duffle bag filled money. She needed to hide it in a safer place. "First round on you." She shouted walking down the hallway.
Robyn smiled as she walked beside him, putting worry to the side for the moment. It had already been a long enough day for criminals like them. "Funny thing, I noticed two jewelry stores and a pawns show but no pub. Shame on me for missing the pub." She said with a wicked grin as they headed out.
Robyn walked along side him as she thought of places to hide her cash. "You can go on ahead, I'll meet you there in a minute. " She told him as she decided to head the opposite direction towards the jewelry stores. She couldn't have him know where she stashes her money. Not that she didn't trust Jason, but she didn't really trust anyone to a certain degree, especially with money.
Once Robyn put away her money, she headed to the pub. She glanced at her watch, hoping she didn't take too long. Only an hour, hopefully Jason would be too drunk to notice, she thought to herself as she walked into the pub. She glanced around, until she stopped Jason and took a sit beside him. "You owe me a drink, I believe." She said with a smile.
Robyn smiled up at him as she leaned back in her chair. "I'll take glass of whiskey." She said glancing up at screen where a football game was playing. With nothing interesting to look at, she examined the pub before just looking at Jason.
"Not really." Robyn replied with a light smile as she looked at him. She couldn't help but check him out. He was very handsome and his bicep were just lovely to look. Robyn shook her head, she really need to get her priorities straight, she thought as she sipped her whiskey.
Robyn grinned like a cheshire cat not looking away. "What do you thinking i'm looking at?" She asked as she rested her chin on her hands. She had a tendency, to resort to games when she was bored, interested in someone, or unsure of her situation. And tonight, she was all three of those things.
"You're not much a talker all you. Don't tell me you are one of those obedient little patriotic jarheads? Protect and serve your country until you realize your country don't give a shit about you?" Robyn asked inquisitively as she watched Jason.
