I just found this in my email. A freebie from Audible: Locke & Key. It's there until November 4, 2015. I'm not sure if it's available to current members or what, or if one can get it outside the USA.

I'm offended that they didn't send me an email about that. How many other free books are out there that they aren't telling me about?!?!?
Ya know, before I clicked on the link and read the blurb, I was like, "How in the hell do they do an audiobook for a comic?!"
Hubby has been reading this. He feels like it's a little over-produced. It's almost distracting him from the story.
I know I'm wayyyy late to the game, but I downloaded it and put it down quite quickly. I found it too difficult to understand which character was talking so I couldn't keep things straight. Too bad because the story sounds cool, so I guess I'll have to pick up the graphic novel one of these days.
Not so much late, Jenny. I downloaded it but still haven't listened. I was waiting to finish the graphic novel series. I have them all finally, but still need to get back to actually reading them.

Maybe another challenge is that I don't have much experience listening to audio plays or whatever a production like this is called.
Yes, I kinda figured that out based on the blurb. I've read the first 4 GNs, but probably need to read them again before finishing the last 2. They're really good though. I'm not sure how much I'd get out of hearing the story without the artwork.
