Fun facts:
They were both characters who walked onto the page and immediately exploded with character. Beyond hunting down names, I did absolutely NO plotting with them ahead of time.
His name is Step-HAN because that's how I pronounce it in my head while I'm writing it.
There is a slight possibility that he's not native to Rizkaland, but I have no way to prove either way at the moment, because he has no memories prior to his rescue by Kiona's father.
Kiona's name mean's "Brown Hills" and is Native American.
