City of Ashes is the slowest book in the series, but then it gets sooo good! Just remember to read it in one of the two ways:
CoB, CoA, CoG, Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince, Clockwork Princess, then the rest of the Mortal INsturments.
or
CoB, CoA, CoG, Clockwork Angel, CoFA, Clockwork Prince, CoLS, Clockwork Princess, then, CoHF.
Just in case you haven't read the Infernal Devices First. You should read it this way or in a similar way because City of Heavenly Fire has spoilers to the infernal devices.

I love all of Rainbow Rowell's book! I read all her works, except for Attachment. But it's on my TBR. so eventually! :)

found the box set at local thrift store last week, decided to try it out lol. I'm on the 4th book.

How are you liking them? I just ordered the first two books because they were half off. I kept putting them off because the movie was so bad.

I'm hoping for some more character development, but I can't help but find myself thinking about these books when I'm not reading them. Guess it's a good sign :)
