We'd probably want to get it published as an actual book -- or at least that is what I think. Would we still be able to do that if it were on Wattpad?
A lot of people get their stories published after being on wattpad though once published most get taken off wattpad but it would be good to see people's reaction to it before we get it published as an actual book.
That makes sense. So we'd do a group account for that, too, right?
Yeah probably. Though we don't need to do that one I don't think any time soon. We still need to get the time line down, all the characters that will be involved etc etc etc.
Exactly, yeah. Though with everyone busy with school work and etc we might not be able to do it continuously every week.
And we don't necessarily have to start posting immediately. I imagine we'll want to get an editor while cleaning it up between Wattpad and publishing?
Yeah. I so want the world to see these charries!
THEY WILL SEE AND EXPERIENCE THEIR PAIN, SORROWS, TRAGEDIES, AND EVERYTHING ELSE IN BETWEEN!!!
IT WILL BE DONE
IT WILL BE DONE
Well, tiki-toki.com has good timeline software. Or we could do a table for it.
Hmmmm, well we could try the table but if that doesn't work out too well we can try the tiki-toki.com.
Okay. I think we should put in historical stuff, too, from like the creation on. And maybe stuff of character backstories, too?
I think the history of the city should be the like the prologue kinda idea in the very beginning to situate the scene. Maybe during certain chapters with certain people they could discover hidden things that the public doesn't know sort of thing??
I could see character backgrounds being integrated. As characters confide in each other it's revealed what happened to them. That and the character in each chapter that has it's main focus could have reflects on their past etc. ??

That sounds good. So like the history of hobbits as the beginning of LotR?
Yeah, definitely integrating them into the story. Are you on the gmail? KT and I are discussing history and such if you're interested in participating . . . .

I have Wattpad. The chances of the book getting published officially after posting on Wattpad is incredibly low; you have to win the wattys award, get at least 5K votes, and then submit it to the wattpad manager and that takes like a whole year. :3
The process of getting published in the first place is a long one. It couldn't hurt to get feedback in the meantime.
Oh no, I'm not saying no the wattpad idea. I think its great! I'm just saying that getting published because of wattpad is a really long wait.
I don't think we need to get published because of Wattpad. Couldn't we have it posted there but get it published somehow else?
Hmm well we could always use Denver's recommendation. My cousin has a running publishing company, and she loves publishing books on my recommendation. I could ask her. But first, we have to finish it first. :p
Also a good and inexpensive process is piblishing our own via CreateSpace. Thats how I got started originally
That's a good idea. Wait, what's CreateSpace again? :p
Okay. Should've googled that. :p Asking it just makes me sound dumb...which I sort of am...
Can I ask you something? :p Why Golden Heart?
If we self publish, don't we also have to do our own advertising?
Somewhat yes, but most publishing companies dont actually adervtise. With CreateSpace, youre automatically for sale on kindle/ebook, can be bought off of Amazon, and can market yourself to places like b&n
Yeah, what Denver said. *echo*
