New Site Feature: Sort editions by language
date
newest »

GR feedback group is this place for this, and it has been requested there a number of times

This is true, but sometimes certain books are released under different titles. See Captain Corelli's Mandolin, released in the US as Corelli's Mandolin.
Again, this admittedly applies to only a handful of books, but such a feature would be trivially easy to implement since sorting functionality already exists.
As Paula said, this is not a Librarians Group issue, but one for the Feedback Group, or you may wish to use the Contact Us link on the Help page. Librarians can help with issues pertaining to specific book records or most related issues, but have no control over general site functionality or related issues. Closing thread.

I often use the "other editions" link on a book's page to find the cover that I like the most for classics or any book that will have several editions. As I typically am looking for a hardcover, I can easily view those by selecting a format, but will then have to wade through dozens of HC editions that are written in other languages.
It would be much easier if one could select the format that they would like the book in and then sort by language so that they can see all the matching editions in their own language.
This isn't a problem for most books, admittedly, but for many older classics which have hundreds of printings, it can be quite cumbersome to sift through everything.
