Link to The Alchemist

Before reading this book, I never knew it was related to The Alchemist in any way. But, as I read, I noticed a small tribute to Santiago. On page 112 it says, "why did no hunting accident befall the shepherd Santiago, who drove his flock up the mountainside each morning?"

Anyway, I was very excited to see a tribute to one of my favorite characters in this book. It also tells us exactly where Santiago is from. In The Alchemist it just says he's from a small town in Andalucia. Now we know he's from Viscos.

I book fangirled a bit when I read that and needed to share it with the rest of the book nerd community, so there ya go :)
