I read it on June or July and I liked it! This just reminded me I need to continue the series.
Anyway, the book is pretty good, funny and with an awesome plot twist.

Not_Your_Typical_Lannister (Leslie) I am half way through this book. I have never read any Greek mythology in my life but I am trying to be more open minded and exploring new genres. It is great! I can tell I will want to read the whole series.

Abi (booksa144) The Percy Jackson series is my favorite series of all time. I have read this book a million times and am going to read it again with you all, if that's okay?

Aneesha I love the Percy Jackson series. The action in the novel makes me want to read all day and night. I also love the second series, The Heroes Olympus. Again the books in the series make me want to read them all day and all night. (If I could).

Not_Your_Typical_Lannister (Leslie) I finished it a few days ago and really enjoyed it. I often like to watch the movie adaptations afterwards. I hear this one is not so good. Thoughts?

The problem with the movie is that they changed a lot of things from the book, starting from the age in the characters. But if you see the movie without thinking about the book you may find it good.

I agree

Yep. The Movie was a horrible, but the book was amazing. I suggest you read the book then watch the movie, then you can see how different the movie is to the book.

I read half of the book and then watched the movie, granted I was younger. I liked the ending of the movie, but then once I had finished to book I realized how different the two were. I would highly recommend reading the book before watching the movie.
