The next Read Along is for The Burning Man with Solange Ritchie for the month of October. I've set the read to start on the 7th until the 31st, so plenty of time for all to get involved! Solange has kindly offered a copy of the book to anyone who wants to participate in this so if you need a copy, shout out because Sean has a copy.

The last two Read Alongs have been really successful so I hope we can carry along in the same vein.

Any questions, please ask, as always. :)

Skye | 636 comments I read this wonderful book and I can't rave enough about Solange or the novel..

Kerry Hunter (kerryelizabeth) I'd desperately like a copy to get involved with this! I can't afford to pay £11 on Amazon for a paperback OR Kindle copy. Seriously expensive book 3

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 1127 comments Chris, you obviously type quicker than I on a tablet. Give me a proper keyboard any day.

message 8: by Christine (new)

Christine (clt04) | 4838 comments HAHA. I used my MacBook Air keyboard for that one, David.

message 9: by Kerry (new)

Kerry Hunter (kerryelizabeth) Thanks, you guys <3 (I know what you mean about typing on a proper keyboard. My laptop died a few months ago and I've only just got a replacement and I could have cried with happiness the first time I typed on it haha)

Have sent Solange a message, and hopefully will join in soon.

I will be reading shortly.

But as mentioned only have an Adobe copy, so you have to read on your computer.

Melanie (meldoc) | 634 comments Thank you for the opportunity to join in. I have had time lately to read a bit more and have just begun The Burning Man. Thank you Sean.

Sandysbookaday (taking a midwinter break) (sandyj21) | 5101 comments I read the Burning Man earlier this year, and I can honestly say it is one of the top books of my year! You are all in for a treat *:D

Good review, Kerry, but oh heck! :-\

As an aside my eldest has just embarked on a degree in Criminology. I'm actually jealous! :-)

Honestly it's a fascinating area of study :3 I really enjoy it. I really hope your eldest loves it as much as I do!

I hope so, Kerry. It's early days and a big big change from sixth form but hopefully she'll settle into it.

I do apologise, I have tried to contact Solange, left posts on her home page, but have not had a reply.

Solange | 10 comments Sean and all- first, sorry I have been out of touch. Going through a difficult time with some personal issues. Anyway, I am now in Florida visiting family so I have some down time to catch up with all of you. Thank you to all of you who provided reviews - either good or not so good - I welcome all of it with open arms. So thank you for your time. For all currently reading, I hope you enjoy and it leaves you wanting more. For all who have any questions for me or comments, could you e-mail me directly at solangeritchie@hotmail.com. Thank you so much for your love and support.

I definitely think you have potential as a writer even though I didn't particularly enjoy this one. I'd still like to read your other novels as and when they are written. Your response is so polite and dignified even though there were some negative commends, so I really do want to commend you. You're a lovely person and it's an honour to have you here.
