Don't worry the same thing happened to me, I watched 3 seasons in a week.

It is a great series and the graphic novels are pretty good too, but I like being surprised, so I don't read them until after the season is over. It's interesting to see how they diverge from the original plot. Don't watch too late into the night, sometimes it's hard to get to sleep or you have zombie-mares.
I do get bored when they are in one location for too long, but I actually don't like it when the group is separated either. I'm just a fickle fan. :D
I'm actually in a discussion about Walking Dead on GoodReads: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Okay, I'm really frustrated, because I haven't encountered much from the list in my reading, but in real life...I've seen or heard of a sailboat, biscuit, mascara, seat belt, cartoon, globe, horror movie, penguin, macaroon, coin, overbearing mother, orange, wheelchair, karaoke, PBJ, rubber duck, hockey puck, takeout menu, elevator, Mercedes, (I own an) antique store, beautician, ladies night out, man cave, priest, video game console and a practical joke. LOL...maybe we need a encounter-in-real-life challenge.
Marla wrote: "Okay, I'm really frustrated, because I haven't encountered much from the list in my reading, but in real life...I've seen or heard of a sailboat, biscuit, mascara, seat belt, cartoon, globe, horror..."Haha Marla every time I hear one of those words I think oh I need that then I remember nope it has to be in a book.
My first few books I found quite a few though.
Haha I'm the same, I think Oohh I need that one and then realise I'm reading the daily paper or something!I nearly peed myself when I found Mancave I was looking round all chuffed with myself and then realised it's only me playing lol.
Wow, good for you, Ladies, I've only found 7 items so far in my reading...of course, I am busy at work and not reading as much, but still, I usually don't have this difficult a time.
Vicci Audio Nerd wrote: "Just checked it's The King.... hmm back to the drawing board I haven't even read the 1st one lol."No I knew about that one but knew you were nowhere near getting to it seens as you haven;t started the, I think I know what book it was i'll let you know once I check.
I searched my book folder on my computer for Katana ( yes i'm determined to get them all) and its apparently in Clockwork Princess which I have lined up in the next few months. Not sure if you read that series though, if not I can tell you one of the other ones that came up.
I found Green beret in another series that you haven't started yet.
Marla wrote: "Wow, good for you, Ladies, I've only found 7 items so far in my reading...of course, I am busy at work and not reading as much, but still, I usually don't have this difficult a time."I found most within a few days but I did manage to read quite a lot that week, I seem to be slowing down on finding words now.
Book Concierge wrote: "I'm fairly certain it's ice hockey, but they never specifically say (college game). Thanks!
Erghh no I tried the city of bones and I wanted to stab my eardrums with a rusty screwdriver haha! The brother / sister thing was just Eww and I couldn't care enough about any of the characters, if the MC had died I wouldn't have cared!
Watched the movie too, just to see if it would change my mind and make me want to reread. ............um no!
I'm glad y'all are enjoying the game. I kinda like the idea of the real life version, although I think we'd have to pick some really difficult words from books if we did that. Hmmmm...
Hey,
is on my short-list of books to read to finish a series, so I will have to read it this quarter. I'm reading a bunch of books...just not with any of these references!
Haha Vicci, yes that almost put me off but I refused to believe it.It was in Eleanor and Park I just checked.
Marla we'll be BR it in a few months.
I forgot to check my latest book and just found some more thanks ☺
I've just found antique store in Panic quite a good read as well.Eleanor and Park was a DNF for me, got kinda bored with it, I may have to reread as everyone seems to love it, the same with Easy as well I need to reread that one too.
You might want to delete that comment ☺ i've heard its good.I read both of those didn't listen to them, loved Eleanor and Park I almost didn't read it as well.
Would this work for ladies' night?"I don't think Andrea had been out on many girls' nights, because she went while go on the martinis. "

Hi Paris me again sorry :(Would someone wearing a vintage Pacman t - shirt work as the video game or does it actually have to be the console?
QUESTION: re rubber duckBook is set in early years of WW2 (1938?)
Mom is taking little girl "down to the town to buy a celluloid duck to sail in Betty's bath."
Would this count?
QUESTION: re: sailboatDaughter wants to take "sailing lessons"
Dad says "lessons are acceptable, but the boat will have to wait."
He's clearly talking about a sailboat, but doesn't use that specific phrase.
Will this count?
Paris, would "She used to rollerblade" work for "roller skates"?and
Would you accept "a mountain cabin" for a "log cabin"?
Zuzana wrote: "Would you accept "a mountain cabin" for a "log cabin"?"Me too...I've got a remote one room mountain cabin.
Yes to the mountain cabin. For roller skates I'd prefer the actual skates or roller skating but will accept roller blading if you can't find the skates.
Thanks, Paris.Just out of curiosity what's the difference between roller skating and roller blading? I thought that's the same thing.
Zuzana wrote: "Just out of curiosity what's the difference between roller skating and roller blading? I thought that's the same thing."A picture is worth a thousand words:
Roller skates have 4 wheels on 2 axels sort of like car tires,

whereas roller blades have 4 skinny wheels in a line.

Thanks, Marla. That made it clear. :)
Thanks Marla for answering Zuzana. I was away from the internet for a bit. I am ultimately looking for roller skates, the quad version, but I will take roller blades if that's all you can find.
Paris, would this be ok for log cabin?"I broke out of the jungle into a grassy clearing. A cabin sat decaying in the middle of the clearing"

I'm fairly certain it's ice hockey, but they never specifically say (college game). So I'll keep it in my files and use it only if I never find "the puck."
