Em had just managed to work herself into a bit of a sweat, when she suddenly heard something unusual. She paused the program and went to investigate.
There was nothing that unusual out in the hallway. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling...
After a moment, the teen suddenly smiled. "... You're not that sneaky, you know."

After a moment, the teen suddenly smiled. "... You're not that sneaky, you know."
She chuckled bitterly at that. "It's hard to be any fun. You know, with all these quakes and stuff... And people are even saying it's Shinra's doing. Even the higher ups."
Em sighed, then paused for a moment and glanced back at the other girl. "... I don't suppose you and your friends have anything to do with this this time, do you?"

"I don't think finding culprits is what will stop this. What matters is finding a way to stop these quakes before our planet splits itself apart." Shiroku was sitting against the wall, and after a moment, he returned the alarmed stares with a nervous laugh. "Not that will actually happen... Oh, I hope I didn't jinx anything."
Em startled at the sound of his voice, immediately reaching for her blades before she finally recognized him. "Oh hey, it's you." Not Axel... this was the other one. What was he doing here?
"... That's a good point," she finally relented, sliding one of her blades back into her boot before straightening again. "But how should we go about that? It's not like we can hold it together with our bare hands..."
She shook her head. "I'd say our scientists are probably working on it as we speak... but that'd probably be a lie. They're not the most reliable." Then she paused, re-considering it. "...Well, maybe one of them might be..."

Em hesitated for a moment. "... Fierre Gnora," she finally explained. "She used to work for Hojo, but I know she's been looking a lot into the quakes lately. It'd be hard to get her on our side, but she might know a little more about how to fix this."
Em frowned slightly at that. "Might be better if we go together... she's not exactly the chatty type, so it could help to have some sort of reinforcement."
She nodded, then turned to look at the girl still lounging beside them. "Hey Moriko, you gonna tag along?"
((She hasn't posted for a while, so I'll have to check in with her. She probably has classes right now - we're going to school in different states now, and I know her schedule is much more crowded than mine...))
