Hello!

I'm preparing my book for release to Inkshares and like some of the other authors. I find reading and recording my chapters helps me with the flow. Perhaps, you'd like a taste of what is on offer over at Cafe Lost Generation?

For those of you not familiar with the story, one of the main characters has issues with hallucinations. This scene highlights some of the negative examples his illness brings. I'm not a professional voice guy, this is a lo-fi, recording with mistakes for personal use, but I hope you like it.

Cafe Lost Generation is now a thing and I love it. I want to hang out there in my comfy sweater in a giant fluffy chair with a mug of chai warm in my hands while different authors step up to the mic and read bits of their books to us.

Tried to give it a listen and it didn't play anything. Like three minutes of blankness. It could be because I am on a phone...right?

I'm not sure. I think you know more about the audio end than I would. It's a m4a file that I extracted from a voice memo app on my phone. Super low tech. I'll have to try it on a phone later and see if it plays.
